Thinking outside the booth

One thing we take pride in at SUM Booth is breaking paradigms and putting our own unique touch on standard themes.
Take the example above, which was recently produced at a RE/MAX event. The client wanted the photo booth to go hand-in-hand with the overall theme for the meeting, which was “Reach for the Top” and incorporated mountain imagery. Of course, this is a popular theme that has been done and redone a hundred times over, and it would have been easy to base our concept off of one of those looks.
Instead, we started from a blank slate and wanted to treat the “Reach for the Top” from a totally new perspective. First of all, we wanted to provide depth in the scene. One of the reasons people enjoy scaling mountains is to enjoy the picturesque views and scenery from that high vantage point. With that in mind, we built a scene with a craggy sandstone cliff-face, an epic looking sky and a background with lesser mountains in the background.
With the scene built, it was now time to figure out how guests could interact with it. Ascend it from the back? That would look cool. How about scale it from the front? That would be a good option. Or, how about all the the above and everything inbetween? Sure, why not! Basically, we created the world and allowed guests to inhabit it however they wanted.
Can the standard photo booth do that?
